What is Yoga?

Yoga is about connecting mind and body together in a way that helps one go within. By connecting breath with movement, we become one with our body and mind in a fluid motion.

Yoga is about energy and how we move that energy. This can look different for everyone and that’s okay. The beauty of this is that means yoga is for everyone. Yes, everyone no matter what level.

Each session allows us to be able to disconnect from the ego and connect with the inner self and discover wonderful things as we delve into our practice. In a group yoga session, you can expect people of all levels joining in a collective together and moving at a pace that honors the body where it is today. Each session starts with a pranayama (Breath work), a flow sequence, a restorative section, and finally savasana to close.
